A Day in the Life

Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) offers cardiac mapping and ablation solutions to treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms. It is focused on disrupting and leading the market with advanced ablation catheters, cardiac mapping systems, and conventional electrophysiology products.

We’re looking for curious, motivated graduates in Sydney (2 positions), Melbourne (2 positions), Brisbane (1 position) & Perth (1 position) who enjoys learning, thrive in fast-paced clinical environments and are excited to work with leading-edge electrophysiology (EP) technology as the business continues to grow.

Working as a Graduate Clinical Specialist , the Medtronic Cardiac Ablation Solutions Graduate Program (24 months) will equip you with the real-world experience and structured training needed to support Medtronic’s latest cardiac electrophysiology technologies during procedures. You’ll learn to deliver technical and clinical support, solve problems in real time and troubleshoot with confidence while working alongside experienced clinical professionals.

What you’ll gain during the program:

  • Mentoring and coaching from experienced Clinical Specialists and Territory Managers

  • Exposure to real hospital environments and advanced EP procedures using cutting-edge technology

  • A clear pathway to increasing responsibility as you achieve defined milestones

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Provide clinical and technical support for Medtronic’s Cardiac Ablation Solutions technology during cardiac electrophysiology procedures, helping teams deliver safe, effective patient care

  • Support Cardiac Ablation Solutions team members with clinical, administrative, stock and marketing requirements to keep customer support and procedures running smoothly

  • After successfully completing the CAS Graduate Education Program, you’ll begin supporting cardiac ablation electrophysiology procedures alongside a qualified Clinical Specialist or Territory Manager until you’re ready to support clinical cases independently

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum requirement is a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Biomedical, Cardiac Physiology, Exercise Physiology or Health Sciences

  • A keen interest in medical technology

  • Comfortable learning complex technical information quickly, with a strong aptitude for technology

  • Computer literacy including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software

  • A valid drivers’ license and flexibility to travel and occasionally work outside standard hours as required

  • Customer focused: Understands and delivers excellent customer service

  • Solutions focused with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the business

  • Learns new skills and ideas quickly and assimilates complex information

  • Results-oriented with good organisation and time-management skills; able to set and reset priorities

  • Able to prioritise, handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure. Resilient attitude and adapt well to changing priorities

  • Excellent organisational skills, working with method and structure to respond to deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to understand and communicate novel concepts and ideas. Professional presentation/presence

  • Demonstrable ability to build solid relationships with external and internal stakeholders at all levels
