About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, and caring individual to support a gentleman in his early 80's with Acquired brain injury, tetraplegia, left side paralysis and complex communication and support needs.

He is a jovial, friendly and intelligent man with a wicked sense of humour. He requires support throughout her day, at home.

This is a hands-on role where you will provide person-centred support tailored to her individual needs and goals.

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate support at home and in the community.
• Follow care plan and daily routines.
• Support with personal care and communication.
• Engage in fun, meaningful conversations in various topics

About You
You are resilient, patient, caring and dedicated. You enjoy connecting with people, creating positive experiences, and supporting others to live their best life.

Essential Skills & Attributes:

• Experience in person-centred care. Personal care, catheter care, experience in dysphagia and hoisting.
• Ability to engage proactively and build strong relationships.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills.
• Professional and calm approach

What You’ll Need Before Starting:

• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply).
• Working with Children Check.
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle.
• Completion (or willingness to complete) NDIS orientation modules.
• Willingness to undertake Bowel Care and Person-Centred training.
• Experience with personal care, hoisting, dysphagia, catheter care.

Pay Rate: $38.60 - $77.03 per hour (casual)
