Full job description

SSS Auto Parts is one of Australia's largest and leading suppliers of imported new genuine and aftermarket automotive crash parts.

About the role:

Reporting to the IT Helpdesk Team Leader you will be responsible for:

  • Receive and respond to incoming calls, help desk tickets, and/or emails regarding PC and/or hardware problems of both onsite and offsite team members.
  • Work with end-users in analysing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware/software and some basic network support issues.
  • Assisting with onboarding and support of new employees.
  • Installing, configuring and/or upgrading computer hardware, software, printers and scanners.
  • Maintain and update existing documentation, including user guides and IT processes.
  • Research, gather and form documentations from collected information to IT related topics.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks when required by the Management team.

About you:

As a Helpdesk Support Officer, you will ideally have.

  • Recently completed or studying towards completion of an IT related discipline.
  • Must have full working rights in Australia to apply.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment involving collaboration within the department and with other departments.
  • Knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems, peripherals and computer hardware.
  • Knowledge of Windows 11, Linux, Microsoft Office Suite, Windows Active Directory and VMWare would be highly appreciated.
  • Strong Troubleshooting capabilities evidenced by organized, analytical thinking, and problem solving.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
