High Rise Structural Project Engineer jobs

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilise advanced engineering principles and software tools to design and analyse structural systems, including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry components.
• Experience in post tension slab design and documentation.
• Prefer any high-rise building design experience.
• Perform site inspections.
• Manage assigned projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, drawings, specifications, and other technical documents outlining project requirements, design solutions, and recommendations.
• Implement rigorous quality assurance procedures to verify the accuracy and reliability of design calculations, drawings, and deliverables.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in consulting or design firms.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, RAPT, RAM Concept, etc.
• Thorough understanding of Australian building codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., AS 3600, AS 4100, AS 1170).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality engineering solutions on time and within budget.
