About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Produce Replenishment Assistant to join or tight knit team. The successful applicant will be responsible for the replenishment and merchandising of fresh produce within the store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and merchandise fresh produce
  • Provide expert advice to management and influence outcomes to achieve best practice replenishment practices
  • Engage and lead business as necessary - operational and special event planning
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, with the goal of further cost reductions, continuing customer service level improvements and freshness of product
  • Focus on working collaboratively with multiple teams to achieve business objectives
  • Work closely with Logistics development teams to execute projects involving produce
  • Use effective communication techniques which encourage open and honest communications and constant information flow
  • Build and maintain key relationships
  • Ensure safe working practices are adhered to, promoting safety policies and procedures on an on-going basis
  • Maintain Store service levels
  • Maintain stock on hand in stores
  • Managing a team environment that drives performance through team based practices
  • Leading the successful implementation and integration of new processes and technology to deliver best practice in replenishment

This role is based at our store in Terrey Hills and reports to a Support Manager.

You will have:

  • Have previous replenishment/merchandising experience in a fast paced environment
  • Have a proven track record of sound commercial acumen
  • Be customer centric and develop a customer focused replenishment plan
  • Advanced problem solving abilities
  • Be innovation and continuous improvement focused
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use customer insights and data to make strategic and commercial business decisions
  • Passion for fresh produce
