Relief Management Couple

Yarrawonga Riverlands Tourist Park, Yarrawonga VIC
Part-time | Approximately 4 days per fortnight | Onsite accommodation available

About the Opportunity

Yarrawonga Riverlands Tourist Park is a family-friendly holiday park in the beautiful Murray River region, close to Lake Mulwala and the Yarrawonga town centre.

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on and customer-focused Management Couple to join our team and provide relief support to our current resident management couple.

This is a genuine part-time lifestyle opportunity, with approximately 4 days per fortnight under the normal roster, plus additional paid work when required.

The Role

During your normal roster, you will assist with the day-to-day operation of the Park, including:

  • Welcoming guests and providing excellent customer service.
  • Check-ins, check-outs and general reception duties.
  • Responding to guest enquiries and requests.
  • Park and facility inspections.
  • Assisting with general presentation, cleaning, grounds and basic maintenance.
  • Identifying and reporting operational or maintenance issues.
  • Supporting the resident management couple with daily operations.

Relief Management

The key part of this role is providing relief coverage when the resident management couple take leave.

During these periods, you will step up and take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Park, including:

  • Managing the guest experience.
  • Coordinating arrivals and departures.
  • Managing guest enquiries and complaints.
  • Coordinating housekeeping and maintenance requirements.
  • Supervising day-to-day staff activities.
  • Responding to operational and maintenance issues.
  • Handling after-hours guest requirements.
  • Making practical decisions to keep the Park operating smoothly.
  • Liaising with the Regional General Manager.

Management leave may require you to work up to 7 consecutive days, with leave periods potentially lasting 1–2 weeks at a time.

Additional availability will also be required during peak periods, including school holidays, Christmas/New Year, Easter and long weekends.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a couple who are:

  • Friendly, reliable and approachable.
  • Hands-on and willing to get involved.
  • Comfortable working independently.
  • Confident dealing with guests and solving problems.
  • Organised and able to prioritise.
  • Comfortable working weekends and public holidays.
  • Flexible enough to provide extended relief coverage when required.
  • Proud of the presentation and operation of a holiday park.

Previous experience in holiday parks, caravan parks, accommodation, hospitality, tourism or a similar role is highly regarded.

Previous management or supervisory experience is an advantage, as is experience with RMS or another accommodation booking system.

What's On Offer

  • Part-time Management Couple position
  • Approximately 4 days per fortnight under the standard roster.
  • Additional paid work during management leave and peak periods.
  • Onsite accommodation available.
  • Opportunity to live and work in the beautiful Yarrawonga/Murray River region.
  • A flexible lifestyle role without the commitment of full-time park management.
  • Support from an experienced Regional General Manager.
  • Opportunity to grow with an expanding tourist park group.

Requirements

  • Australian work rights.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a couple.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and peak periods.
  • Ability to provide 1–2 weeks of relief management coverage when required.
  • A current driver's licence for at least one applicant.
