We are looking for friendly, reliable and confident Patient Support Officers (PSOs) to join our growing remote team.

As a PSO, you are the first point of contact for patients accessing our service. You will support patients throughout their telehealth journey, assist with bookings and enquiries, and work closely with our doctors and operational team to ensure a smooth and positive patient experience.

This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask across multiple screens and platforms at once, strong attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm, professional and compassionate when supporting patients.

What you'll be doing

  • Complete patient bookings and accurately enter and update patient information
  • Provide clear and professional information about the service and next steps
  • Support patients with technical or access issues where required
  • Liaise with Shift Co-Ordinators, the Support Team, doctors and other team members
  • Monitor and respond to operational communications in a timely manner
  • Complete administrative tasks accurately and within required timeframes
  • Navigate multiple systems, screens and platforms while managing patient interactions
  • Follow MED policies, procedures and privacy requirements
  • Help ensure every patient receives a professional, supportive and positive experience

What we're looking for

  • Available to work Monday - Friday between 1400-0000 AWST and weekends
  • Must have a Private home office space and High speed internet
  • The ability to confidently multitask across multiple computer screens and platforms
  • Previous experience in telehealth, medical administration, healthcare support or a similar patient-focused role
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and compassionately with patients, families and healthcare professionals
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency using computer systems and electronic patient record software
  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • A compassionate and patient-focused approach to care and support
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when completing administrative tasks
  • The ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability, particularly suited to casual work arrangements
  • The ability to work independently while also being a collaborative member of a remote team
