St George Hospital is seeking motivated and highly organised Administration Officers to join the Outpatient Services team. We are recruiting for both a Permanent Part-Time position (4 days per week) and a Temporary Full-Time position (12 months).
As part of a centralised administrative workforce, these roles support a diverse range of medical, surgical, and allied health outpatient services, contributing to the delivery of safe, high-quality, and patient-centred care.
Working within a busy outpatient environment, the successful applicants will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of outpatient services. Key responsibilities include coordinating billing practices, managing PBRC errors and data integrity, maintaining eMR scheduling, supporting referral and waitlist management processes, and assisting with the day-to-day operations of outpatient clinics.
We are looking for individuals with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service excellence.

Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in providing high level administrative support in a demanding environment.
- Demonstrated ability to write reports, documents and correspondence.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal and verbal communication skills and the ability to respond and work with a range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated high level organisational skills including the ability to prioritise and monitor workflow.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers and standard office software packages and the ability to learn new systems as required.
- Demonstrated ability to determine work priorities for others, allocate tasks, and monitor work performance of staff to achieve work objectives.
- Demonstrated excellent organisational skills with the capacity to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of billing processes and requirements.
