AUGUST 2026 - 6 MONTH POSITION

What You Will Be Doing

The Paediatric Registrar works in an inpatient environment within Children’s ward, SCN, WHU and ED as well as attending deliveries and theatre when required. The Registrar also works across a wide variety of clinics.

This is accredited for Advanced Training – General Paediatrics with Perinatal Medicine.

The opportunity exists for 6 months

This position is open to both continuing basic and advanced trainees.

• Continuing Basic Trainees are those who have completed the time-based training requirements but have other requirements, such as examinations, to complete before progressing to Advanced Training.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:
Essential Criteria:
MBBS or equivalent
Accepted on the RACP BPT or AT in Paediatrics
General or provisional registration as a Medical Practitioner (General , Provisional, Level 3 supervision minimum)
Relevant experience in clinical management in Paediatrics and Neonates

Desirable Criteria:
Teaching skills
