IMED Radiology Network, South Tasmania is looking for individuals who have an interest in working in the health care sector and are confident and proficient in interacting with people who may be nervous of pending procedures and someone who supports a team to deliver friendly, empathetic and efficient services to our local communities.

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and motivated Clinical Assistant to expand their expertise and experience within I-MED Radiology, this will be a Full-Time position predominantly within the Rosny clinic with training and leave cover occasionally at Kingston with hours ranging from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

What will you be doing?

  • Providing excellent customer service and patient care
  • Perform and assist with patient movement in the Medical Imaging service area, and the hospital when clinically required
  • Assist with procedure set up and providing patient support during interventional procedures
  • Opportunity for venepuncture /cannulation training
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels within the clinic and ensuring supplies are distributed across the clinics
