Employment Type: Temporary Full Time (38 hours per week up until 30-Jun-2028) .
Temporary positions available for Visa holders and contracts will be issued in line with visa conditions.
Remuneration: $40.05 -$54.94 per hour + 12% Superannuation + Salary Packaging

  • Demonstrated experience in child protection, women's health, family support and/or a hospital setting.
  • Strong knowledge of community-based support services and referral pathways.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • A resilient, empathetic and patient-focused approach, with a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for women, children and families.

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

  • Do you have a Social Work degree which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)? Please attach a copy of your degree with your application
  • Describe a complex case where you supported a consumer and/or their family experiencing significant psychosocial challenges, such as child protection concerns, domestic and family violence, end-of-life care, or a complex discharge. How did you assess their needs, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and achieve a positive outcome?
  • This role requires managing competing priorities in a busy clinical environment while maintaining accurate documentation and delivering consumer-centred care. Can you provide an example of how you balanced a high-volume workload, ensured compliance with organisational or legislative requirements, and maintained quality outcomes for consumers and carers?
