Full job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and self-motivated Administration Officer to join our team one day per week. As a member of ward 5D, you will be given opportunities to support the ward in a variety of administrative tasks. You will work together with the Multi-Disciplinary Team to achieve a common goal of delivering high quality patient centred care.

What you'll be doing
Ward 5D supports patients with high complex needs. This role is an integral part of the team where you'll be answering calls to the ward, supporting patients and their families, assisting the manager with administrative tasks, among other tasks.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Recent customer service experience.
  • Demonstrated effective written and oral communication.
  • Demonstrated clerical and computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and to be flexible and adapt to change.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a team and to work unsupervised.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
