Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Social Worker looking for a new and exciting position?
Prince of Wales Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Allied Health team on a permanent part-time basis. Ideally, we are looking for someone that can work 12 hours per week over 3 days (4 hours per day). Our hospital offers a friendly and supportive staff environment, with our established multidisciplinary teams servicing both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs. This role provides the opportunity to experience a varied caseload across areas including general medical, ICU, cardiac, maternity and oncology.

As a Social Worker your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a high standard of clinical care
- Working independently as part of the healthcare team
- Contributing to the multidisciplinary care of our patients
- Involvement with both inpatient and outpatient services
- Communicating effectively with all stakeholders including doctors, allied health, nurses, patients and their families
Essential Criteria:
- Degree in Social Work and eligibility with the AASW
- Minimum 2 years’ previous experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience in adult acute inpatient hospital experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Skills and experience working in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team
- Customer focused service delivery
