Trainer and Assessor - Hospitality (Barista and Housekeeping) - Cairns
- Open to Casual or Part Time Employment

Deliver Short Courses (5-day blocks) designed to support people with the skills needed for employment

About you

Willingness to travel to other sites within the Cairns region

An inclusive and supportive approach to people

Be a driven, supportive and community minded person

Able to work with a range of learners to support them in building future opportunities for themselves through learning

Experience in delivering work ready skills and digital literacy training

Excellent skills in training facilitation and assessment within vocational area

Ability to identify barriers to learning to support student attendance
VET
- Appropriate Industry qualification such as Certificate II in Hospitality or higher with completed units SITHFAB005 Prepare and serve espresso coffee and SITHACS003 Prepare rooms for guests

Relevant qualifications and industry currency within the last 12 months
-
Must hold a current up to date TAE40116 including TAELLN411 or TAE 401A and TAEASS502 or 502A or 502B
