Hotel Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Local Area Knowledge
  • Identify and target key accounts locally.

Network and promote our presence at community meetings, tourism events, and local business associations.

Sales Planning

  • Contribute to the Business Plan development.
  • Monitor property performance against budget, occupancy levels, and room rates.
  • Conduct market and competitor analyses to align property positioning.
  • Develop and update Sales Activity and Promotional Plans.
  • Plan and schedule sales activities for key accounts.

Sales Calls

  • Prepare and deliver effective presentations.
  • Schedule and conduct sales calls and face-to-face meetings with key accounts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with account representatives.
  • Gather and share market intelligence.
  • Sales Activity Reporting
  • Review reservation activity reports to identify and action leads.
  • Analyze company stay reports and monitor trends for future sales planning.
  • Maintain and manage the Property Sales System database.

Marketing

  • Develop advertising and promotional ideas for the property.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with relevant organizations to enhance the brand.
  • Prepare marketing materials using approved corporate collateral.

Other Duties

  • Collaborate with the Corporate Office and Hospitality team to enhance sales activities.
  • Undertake additional duties as directed by the General Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Educational qualification in Real Estate with an understanding of the Perth hospitality/service apartment market.
  • 5+ years of service apartment leasing experience in a similar role.
  • Proven ability to increase revenue and meet leasing quotas.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and administration skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
