Are you passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences? Do you thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment where no two days are the same? BreakFree on Broadway Sydney is seeking a motivated and service-focused Hotel Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis.

About Us

BreakFree on Broadway Sydney offers comfortable and convenient accommodation in the heart of Sydney, welcoming corporate travellers, families, and international guests. We pride ourselves on friendly service, professionalism, and creating memorable guest stays.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Hotel Manager, you will be the face of the hotel and the first point of contact for our guests. Your role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering a high standard of customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing warm, professional check-in and check-out experiences
  • Managing reservations and handling guest enquiries via phone, email and in person
  • Processing payments and reconciling daily transactions
  • Assisting guests with local information, directions and recommendations
  • Handling guest feedback and resolving issues promptly and professionally
  • Supporting housekeeping coordination and room allocations
  • Maintaining accurate records in the property management system
  • Assisting with general front office administrative tasks

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a hotel front office or customer service role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and varied shifts
  • Experience using a PMS (e.g. RMS, Opera or similar) preferred
  • Full Australian working rights
