Job description

JustTutors is hiring Australia-based online tutors for Maths, Science and English across the NSW and Victorian Curriculum.

We are looking for passionate, reliable, and highly capable tutors who can teach students from Year 5 to Year 12 through engaging 1-to-1 online sessions. We are especially interested in tutors with strong familiarity with the NSW Curriculum and/or Victorian Curriculum, with preference for those who can confidently support senior secondary students, including HSC and VCE learners.

At JustTutors, we focus on personalised learning, strong academic outcomes, and a supportive student experience. Every student receives targeted academic support based on their level, pace, and learning needs.

We are growing our tutor network in Australia and are looking for tutors who combine subject expertise with professionalism, warmth, and strong online teaching skills.

Subjects we are hiring for

• Maths – Year 5 to Year 12
• English – Year 5 to Year 12
• Science – Year 5 to Year 12

What you will do

• Deliver high-quality 1-to-1 online tutoring sessions
• Support students with schoolwork, concept clarity, revision, and exam preparation
• Adapt your teaching style based on each student’s learning level and pace
• Create an engaging, student-friendly online learning environment
• Help students improve confidence, consistency, and academic performance
• Track progress and maintain a high standard of teaching quality
• Work closely with the academic support team where needed

Who we are looking for

• Tutors currently based in Australia
• Strong subject expertise in Maths, Science, and/or English
• Good knowledge of the NSW Curriculum and/or Victorian Curriculum
• Experience teaching students from Year 5 to Year 12
• Experience with HSC and/or VCE students will be a strong advantage
• Prior online tutoring or teaching experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and a student-friendly teaching style
• Reliable, professional, and responsive
• Comfortable teaching online using a laptop, webcam, and stable internet connection

Preferred profile

We would especially love to hear from tutors who:

• Have taught students in New South Wales or Victoria
• Can confidently handle both middle school and senior school levels
• Have experience supporting students in assessment and exam preparation
• Can explain concepts clearly and build strong student rapport
