We’d love to meet you!

SchoolWorks is a new specialist education and school supplies store helping families navigate every stage of their child’s academic journey - from primary school through to the HSC.

We’re looking for enthusiastic university students to join our team on a casual basis.

About the Role:

You’ll be much more than a retail assistant. You’ll help parents and students make informed decisions about educational resources and provide friendly guidance on:

  • NSW Selective School preparation
  • Opportunity Class (OC) pathway
  • NAPLAN
  • ICAS
  • HSC subject resources
  • School stationery and educational products

You’ll also:

  • Assist customers in-store
  • Recommend appropriate books and learning materials
  • Process sales and operate the POS system
  • Restock shelves and maintain attractive displays
  • Help create a welcoming experience for every family
  • We’d Love to Hear From You If You:
  • Are currently studying at university
  • Preferably attended a NSW Selective High School or have first-hand experience with the Selective, OC or HSC system
  • Are confident speaking with parents and children
  • Have excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Are friendly, reliable and proactive
  • Can work weekends and/or after-school hours

Bonus If You Have

  • Tutoring experience
  • Experience in retail or customer service
  • Knowledge of NSW school curriculum and exams
  • A passion for education
