About the role
We are seeking applications from qualified teachers who are enthusiastic, have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to Christian schooling. This role will initially be offered as a full-time HSIE teaching role for Term 3 and 4 2026. The successful candidate will join a highly competent and supportive secondary teaching team. Over the next five years our student enrolment will grow from 450 to 650 students, so there are considerable opportunities for teachers to contribute to growth, improvement and leadership.
Requirements
- Be able to display the capacity to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes.
- Be able to receive feedback on your teaching and implement changes.
- Be supportive of an explicit instruction approach to teaching, based in a knowledge-rich curriculum.
- Be able to effectively plan for, collect and analyse educational data, then devise appropriate strategies and interventions to improve student outcomes.
- Be able to demonstrate excellent teaching as described by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
- Have an active Christian faith, suitable tertiary qualifications and NESA accreditation (or be eligible).
- Hold a current Employee Working with Children Check.
