Classification: ANU Officer 8 (Administration)
Salary package: $124,392 - $133,017 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Full time, Fixed Term (until 24 December 2026)


The Position:
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused HR Business Partner to join our team and play a key role in driving people outcomes across the University.

As a trusted advisor to leaders, you will provide both strategic and operational HR support, partnering with stakeholders across a broad range of areas including workplace relations, performance management, organisational change, policy and procedure, conflict resolution, and case management.

You’ll bring a proactive, solutions-focused approach, working closely with leaders to identify risks early, support effective decision-making, and ensure a positive employee experience.


About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven experience as a generalist HR practitioner and business partner
  • Strong capability in business partnering and early intervention case management
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, customer-focused HR services
  • Experience working with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
  • Sound knowledge of workplace relations, performance management, and organisational change practices
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills
