We are seeking a passionate and high performing Human Resource Officer to join our Thriving Minds team.

As a Human Resource Officer within the Thriving Minds team, you will play a key role in cultivating a mentally healthy and psychosocially safe workplace across the ATO. Working within the Working Well branch in ATO People, you’ll contribute to the design and delivery of initiatives that support the ATO’s Mental Health Strategy and Health, Safety and Wellbeing Action Plan.

You will deliver and support projects that enhance workforce wellbeing, including developing evidence based psychosocial safety approaches, contributing to WHS systems, and designing and facilitating learning solutions across face-to-face and digital platforms for diverse audiences.

You will also lead enterprise-wide communication and engagement initiatives (e.g. RUOK Day) and help manage access to employee support services such as the Employee Assistance Program.

You will apply data-driven HR and workplace mental health knowledge to provide high-quality advice, build strong stakeholder relationships, and contribute to project outcomes. Success in the role requires strong communication skills, sound judgement, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Adelaide, Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Melbourne CBD, Parramatta, Perth, Sydney CBD or Upper Mount Gravatt.

We embrace the strength of diversity – through our people and the perspectives they bring.

We are committed to inclusive recruitment practices and encourage applications from people with disability or neurodivergence, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and individuals from all backgrounds. Reasonable adjustments can be provided throughout the recruitment process.
