Human Resources Business Partner

Deliver a sustainable future with WA’s landmark urea project!

Clough, as part of a Joint Venture with Saipem, is delivering the Project ‘CERES’ urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.


We are currently searching for a HR BP with a strong focus on reporting to join the Ceres HR Function. This position comes with a view to grow within the team, learning and working alongside seasoned professionals. This position is site-based on a 19:9 rotation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely, practical advice to site supervisors and project management on all employee and industrial relations matters, including disciplinary processes, grievances, and disputes.
  • Manage and resolve complex workplace investigations in accordance with company policy, the relevant EBA, and the Fair Work Act 2009.
  • Interpret and apply the project Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA), Modern Awards, and applicable legislative instruments.
  • Liaise with unions, employee representatives, and Fair Work Commission as required.
  • Monitor and proactively manage emerging ER risks on site.
  • Coach and support supervisors and frontline leaders in managing underperformance, conduct, and behavioural issues effectively and lawfully.
  • Lead or support formal performance improvement processes, show cause procedures, and separation processes.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Human Resources or a related field highly regarded.
  • 5+ years’ experience in the HR space, ideally within a construction environment.
  • Ability to work a 19:9 rotation to site.
