Established in 2000, The Meat & Wine Co prides itself in providing an exceptional and unique steakhouse dining experience. The Meat & Wine Co is a full service, casual fine dining steakhouse that specialises in dry-aging steaks and has an impressive wine selection. Our teams pride themselves on their training and development and people first culture.

Our Canberra restaurant is seeking Full Time Food & Beverage Attendant to join the team.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Previous A La Carte restaurant experience - 2-3 years
  • A valid RSA
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Experience in POS ordering systems and cash handling
  • A solid understanding of wine and its service preferred
  • steak knowledge preferred
  • basic allergen understanding
  • Good and clear communication skills to interact with guests and team members
  • experience working in similar fast paced environment
  • own transportation - able to stay past 11pm, if needed
  • Previous Hospitality Experience - minimum up to 3 years if possible, steak house preferred
  • Availability to work Monday to Sunday, must be able to work lunch shifts and double shifts. Mostly need Monday - Friday availability
  • Flexible availability over a 7-day rotating roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays
  • degree in hospitality and want progression preferred.
