OfficeMaps is an Australian SaaS company that provides workplace management software for hot desking, desk/room booking, employee directories, and interactive office floorplans to help organisations manage hybrid workspaces.
An IT Support Specialist helps employees or customers solve computer, software, network, and technical problems. They are responsible for keeping IT systems running smoothly and providing technical assistance.
Typical duties include:
Installing and configuring computers, printers, and software
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Managing user accounts and passwords
Supporting networks, Wi-Fi, email, and cloud systems
Responding to help desk tickets and technical requests
Maintaining cybersecurity and system updates
Training staff on IT systems and tools
Documenting technical problems and solutions
Common skills employers look for:
