THE OPPORTUNITY:
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver structured technical training and competency assessments.
- Support employees in achieving and maintaining Cable Signatory status.
- Develop and maintain training materials and assessment tools.
- Coach and mentor workshop personnel to build technical capability.
- Develop, review and maintain cable repair procedures and work instructions.
- Ensure documentation aligns with OEM requirements and relevant industry standards.
- Maintain document control and revision management.
- Maintain workshop licensing and regulatory compliance.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, complete and traceable.
- Monitor changes to relevant legislation and industry standards.
- Provide technical advice to workshop personnel.
- Assist with troubleshooting complex repairs.
- Support quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical support for quotations and customer enquiries.
- Assist the sales team with technical advice.
- Identify opportunities to grow the JTMEC Cables business.
- Promote the capabilities and services of the workshop.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Cable Repair Signatory certification
- Extensive experience in cable repair within the mining or industrial sectors
- Strong knowledge of cable repair standards and industry requirements
- Experience delivering technical training and mentoring others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
- A strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
- A collaborative and customer-focused approach
