About the Role
We’re looking for a Design Assistant to join our Bonds Women’s Underwear team, supporting the design team in bringing new season product ranges to life in line with key seasonal timelines.
This is a great opportunity for an emerging designer who loves product, detail and the fast pace of development. You’ll work across range design, trend research, product presentations and development administration, supporting the team from concept through to handover.
What experience do I need?
  • A degree in Fashion Design, Fashion and Textiles or a related field.
  • 1–2+ years’ experience in a similar role, internship or apparel design support role.
  • A strong interest in women’s underwear, product development, fabric, fit and garment construction.
  • Good knowledge of textiles, apparel manufacturing and the product development process.
  • Commercial creativity - you understand that great design needs to work for the customer, the brand and the business.
  • Strong organisation skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive, flexible and collaborative approach, with the ability to work at pace and meet tight deadlines.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience using Adobe Illustrator; Photoshop skills would be a bonus.
