Barista / All-Rounder – Part-Time | Tuesday & Thursday

Cozy Brew & Co. is a boutique takeaway café in Sydney CBD, focused on delivering consistent, high-quality coffee in a friendly, efficient and organised environment.

We operate weekdays only, serving specialty coffee alongside a selection of light food and pastries.

We are looking for a reliable and team-focused Barista / All-Rounder to join our small team and work Tuesdays and Thursdays.

You’ll work alongside our Head Barista and assist with coffee preparation, customer service, café operations and closing duties.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing coffee and confidently texturing milk
  • Taking customer orders and operating the POS
  • Supporting the Head Barista during busy service periods
  • Restocking milk, cups, food and other supplies
  • Maintaining café cleanliness and organisation
  • Assisting with food display and light food service
  • Assisting with opening/closing and cleaning procedures
  • Working efficiently as part of a small team

About You

  • Previous café/barista experience preferred
  • Confident with milk texturing and basic espresso preparation
  • Friendly and comfortable speaking with customers
  • Able to work efficiently during busy periods
  • Proactive — you notice what needs to be done without always being asked
  • Clean, organised and team-focused
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Comfortable working in a compact takeaway café

Hours

Tuesday & Thursday6:30 am – 2:30 pm
Approximately 15–16 hours per week

This is a regular part-time position, so we’re looking for someone who must consistently commit to both days each week.

Pay: $28–$30 per hour, depending on experience and applicable Award requirements.

Training & Support

You’ll work closely with our experienced Head Barista, who will provide training on our coffee recipes, equipment, workflow and day-to-day café procedures.

We’re a small team, so we’re looking for someone who is happy to learn, help each other out and become a reliable part of Cozy Brew & Co.

Immediate start available.

Pay: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 per week
