Your next career opportunity
- Support the Associate Dean, Diversity and Inclusion, by delivering high-quality research and drafting support.
- Translate complex evidence into practical resources, governance materials, and proposals for strategic inclusion initiatives.
- Gain experience working across both staff and student portfolios within a leading business and economics faculty.
What you will deliver:
- Conduct targeted literature and policy reviews on diversity and inclusion in higher education and related contexts.
- Synthesise research, policy, and institutional information into concise proposals, concept notes, and implementation frameworks for D&I initiatives.
- Develop evidence-based briefing papers, information sheets, and communication materials explaining key social equity dates and initiatives.
- Contribute to an ethnic diversity census proposal, including benchmarking, survey design considerations, and privacy and ethics requirements.
- Draft and refine governance and engagement documents and inclusive teaching guidance, ensuring alignment with University standards and accessibility.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Hold a relevant postgraduate qualification, PhD enrolment, or equivalent experience in social or organisational disciplines.
- Demonstrate advanced experience conducting literature reviews and synthesising complex information into clear, accessible outputs.
- Bring skills in survey or question design, data preparation, and basic qualitative or quantitative analysis.
- Produce high-quality written materials for varied audiences, using plain English and adapting tone to context.
- Work confidently with confidential or sensitive information, demonstrating discretion and strong ethical judgement.
- Collaborate effectively with academic and professional staff, managing priorities and deadlines in a flexible environment.
