Full job description

Betty's Burgers is a classic burger shack experience, showcasing the freshest and most delicious burgers in town. Together with our mouth-watering burgers, our menu also features our homemade ice-cream.

We are now seeking a highly skilled hospitality professional with a knowledge of fast paced food & beverage operations to step into the role of Restaurant General Manager!

Your role will report directly into the Operations Manager, driving the business forward and overseeing the front and back of house operations. As an established hospitality leader, we want to see you lead by example and be hands on with your team in all aspects of management and restaurant operations.

As a Restaurant General Manager, your role will involve;

  • Being the face of the restaurant
  • Meeting restaurant financial objectives
  • Implementing marketing strategies to attract new business
  • Controlling purchasing costs and inventory levels
  • Maintaining operations by implementing policies & standard operating procedures
  • Enhancing guest satisfaction by identifying operational shortfalls and implementing corrective actions
  • Recruiting, on boarding, training, rostering, coaching, motivating and managing team members

What are we looking for?

  • Proven leadership experience in hospitality particularly within high volume operations
  • Solid business acumen
  • Excellent administration sills
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
  • Ability to work a flexible rotating roster including nights/ weekends
  • A profound focus on customer service and driven by results

Role Requirements:

  • Food Safety Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • RSA Certificate
  • Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
