Banwala Brothers Pty Ltd operates multiple well-established Indian restaurants across Adelaide, South Australia, delivering authentic cuisine and exceptional dining experiences. Our venues include:

· Curry N Hurry – Blackwood, SA

· Curry N Hurry – West Terrace, Adelaide SA

· Samrat Indian Cuisine – Magill SA 5057

We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Full-Time Restaurant Manager to oversee operations across our restaurant locations and support our growing hospitality business.

About the Role

The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for managing daily restaurant operations, maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service, supervising staff, and ensuring smooth coordination between front-of-house and kitchen teams across multiple venues.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a hospitality professional with strong operational and people-management skills.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

· Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations

· Ensure high standards of customer service and customer satisfaction

· Recruit, train, supervise, and roster restaurant staff

· Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing support and development

· Coordinate front-of-house operations to ensure efficient service during busy periods

· Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally and promptly

· Manage stock ordering, supplier relationships, and inventory control

· Monitor restaurant budgets, labour costs, and operational expenses

· Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations

· Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to maintain food quality and service consistency

· Coordinate and participate in promotional events to drive business growth

· Maintain accurate records relating to sales, stock, staffing, and operational reporting

Required Qualifications and Experience

· Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field

· Minimum 1 year of full-time relevant experience

Without Qualification

· Minimum 3 years of full-time relevant experience in restaurant management or hospitality operations

All candidates must also demonstrate:

· Strong leadership and team management skills

· Excellent communication and customer service abilities

· Knowledge of food safety and workplace health and safety regulations

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Work Schedule

· 8-hour shift

· Evening shift

· Rotating roster

· Weekend availability required

Salary

$77,000 – $85,000 per annum (plus Superannuation)
