Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The successful candidate will bring both culinary flair and operational excellence to prepare high-quality dishes, uphold food safety standards, and enhance our guest dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present Indian cuisine at a consistent and high standard
  • Support menu development and daily specials
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and cost control
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to maintain service flow and quality
  • Maintain cleanliness and uphold hygiene standards in all kitchen areas

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in Indian culinary settings, preferably in a similar chef role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage kitchen operations and contribute to menu innovation
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and safe food handling
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
  • Eligibility to work in Australia (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid visa)
  • Minimum certificate IV / diploma
