About El Jannah

More than two decades on, our legendary charcoal chicken, bold flavours and energetic restaurants continue to create experiences guests love across Australia.

About the Role

We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable people to join our team as Restaurant Team Members, working in either Front of House (FOH) or Back of House (BOH). This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll work alongside a great team, keep the energy high, and help create memorable experiences for our guests. No previous experience is required, with full training provided on the job.

What You’ll Be Doing

Depending on your role, your responsibilities may include:

Front of House (FOH):

  • Welcoming guests and delivering friendly, efficient service
  • Taking orders and packing meals accurately
  • Supporting service flow during busy periods
  • Maintaining cleanliness across counters, dining areas and guest spaces
  • Following WHS requirements and reporting hazards or incidents

Back of House (BOH):

  • Preparing menu items such as burgers, rolls, salads and fried products
  • Cooking freezer-to-fryer items in line with safety and quality standards
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in kitchen and prep areas
  • Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils and equipment
  • Following WHS requirements and reporting hazards or incidents

Charcoal Cook:

  • Setting up and operating the charcoal pit safely and correctly
  • Cooking and basting charcoal chicken to El Jannah recipe and quality standards
  • Portioning, rotating, and preparing chicken for service
  • Monitoring cook times, temperatures, and product quality
  • Keeping the charcoal station, tools, and surrounding areas clean and organised
  • Supporting service flow during busy periods
  • Following food safety, WHS requirements, and reporting hazards or incidents
  • Working closely with the wider team to deliver a great guest experience
