A full-time Indian cuisine Chef position is available at an Indian restaurant located in Labrador, QLD 4215 (Moksha Catering Pty Ltd T/A Moksha Fine Dining Indian).

Generous salary package: $85,000-$90,000 plus superannuation depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage the kitchen and prepare high-quality Indian cuisine

· Plan and develop menus, in consultation with the owners/manager

· Coordinate daily and weekly food production with management

· Monitor stock levels, ingredient availability and the freshness and quality of food supplies

· Monitor the quality, consistency, portion sizes and presentation of dishes during preparation and service

· Supervise kitchen staff and provide training

· Implement standards and maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements

· Deal with food complaints efficiently

Qualification/work experience:

· Relevant AQF Diploma or at least 3 years of relevant cooking experience if no formal qualifications.

· Minimum 3 years of experience as an Indian cuisine Chef.

Requirements

· Demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills

· Attention to detail and a passion for delivering outstanding food.

· Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and hygiene practices.
