Full job description

We are seeking an experienced Chef for our well-established business Kraving Foods Pty Ltd T/A Anagan Indian Restaurant Cranbourne located at Linden Tree Way Avenue Village Shopping Centre, Cranbourne North VIC 3977.

We require someone with experience in preparing Indian as well. The Chef will have several daily responsibilities, including:

· Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.

· Demonstrate techniques and advising on cooking procedures.

· Manage & provide training the kitchen staff, including cooks, and kitchen assistants, coordinating tasks to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

· Visualize every situation and tasks independent decision to handle the things.

· Manage staff and supervise the staff that they are doing everything in a right procedure.

· Plan menus that include incorporating seasonal ingredients and catering to various customer preferences and dietary needs.

· Monitor and Implement quality control procedures of dishes at all stages of preparation

· and presentation.

· Estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies.

· Prepare and cook various dishes.

· Explain and ensure compliance with hygine regulations.

Interpersonal skills:

· Motivated and responsible for their own work.

· Shows initiative and takes a proactive approach to daily tasks.

· Has strong organizational skills.

· Works well with others and has good people skills.

Skills and experience

· Experienced trade certificate qualified Chef with at least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.

· Previous experience in a busy restaurant, or similar hospitality industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
