Kitchen Hand – Food Preparation Focus

Fine Dining Indian Restaurant | Innaloo, WA 6018
Casual | $33–$40 per hour

We are a fine dining Indian restaurant in Innaloo looking for a reliable, motivated and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our professional kitchen team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen and takes pride in precision, cleanliness and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, chop and portion ingredients to a high standard
  • Maintain clean, organised and hygienic work areas
  • Assist with plating and service when required
  • Wash dishes, utensils, pots and pans efficiently
  • Complete end-of-service cleaning and kitchen reset
  • Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures
  • Work closely with chefs and the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous commercial kitchen or food preparation experience
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • A positive, hardworking and team-oriented attitude
  • Excellent reliability and punctuality
  • Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety
  • The ability to safely handle commercial-sized pots, pans and kitchen equipment
  • Pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and preparation

Working Hours

  • Evening shifts only
  • Weekend availability is essential
  • Casual position with potential for ongoing, long-term work
  • Flexibility around study may be available

Requirements

  • Must be based locally or have reliable transport to Innaloo, WA 6018
  • Must have valid Australian work rights
