G’day Group is the undisputed leader in regional travel, with over 95 properties across Australia’s most sensational destinations. We have a range of the best accommodation to bring people, places, and communities closer together.

Discovery Resorts - Wilpena

The gateway to the breathtaking Flinders Ranges, 430 kilometers north of Adelaide. Experience the beauty of the 800 million-year-old natural amphitheatre of Wilpena Pound and share in unforgettable adventures like scenic flights, 4WD tours, mountain biking, bushwalking, and Aboriginal cultural experiences. As the only accommodation in the Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park, our resort offers a variety of stunning options, from glamping tents to modern resort rooms and campsites. Enjoy delicious local cuisine, exceptional stargazing, and become part of a team that immerses visitors in Australia’s stunning landscapes!

We strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Wilpena Resort recognises their commitment to traditional owners of the land in which we operate, and therefore, encourage applications from Adnyamathanha peoples.

The Role

Make an impact where it matters — at the heart of Wilpena.

We’re seeking a Relationship Coordinator to support our engagement with Native Title Holders, help deliver on our obligations under the Wiplena Indigenous Land Use Agreement (ILUA), and ensure our operations reflect cultural integrity and collaboration.

Whether you’re early in your career and eager to learn, or further along and keen to contribute to something with purpose, this is an opportunity to grow professionally while supporting outcomes that truly matter.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting respectful, ongoing relationships with the Aboriginal Corporation and other stakeholders
  • Helping deliver Aboriginal employment, training and participation outcomes in line with the ILUA
  • Contributing to cultural awareness training and community engagement activities
  • Assisting in the coordination of heritage management procedures and compliance
  • Providing admin support, including tracking budgets and managing contract obligations
  • Collaborating with a cross-functional team to ensure cultural protocols are embedded in everyday operations

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a genuine interest in Indigenous cultures, community engagement and reconciliation
  • Communicates with empathy, clarity and respect
  • Thrives in a team environment and is open to learning
  • Understands the basics of contract compliance and project coordination (or is willing to learn)
  • Has some experience or exposure to community engagement, land management, or tourism (not essential but a plus)

Benefits

  • Attractive Base Salary + Super + Free Accommodation + Free Meals + Relocation assistance.
  • Mentorship and guidance from an experienced and passionate team
  • Professional development opportunities and support to grow in the role
  • The chance to live and work in one of Australia’s most stunning regions
  • A role that offers more than a paycheck: it offers purpose

This is a remote role, where you will be living and working at Wilpena. As such, please consider the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time. G'day Group offers competitive remuneration and remote living benefits. We also offer career development and learning opportunities including structured training programs and on the job experience and mentoring.

This role includes extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery

**Prior to an offer of employment being made, candidates must provide authority for a Federal Police Clearance to disclose any criminal offences or charges.

The G’day Group acknowledges the increasing global expectation to demonstrate our approach to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) risk factors and sustainability in our daily operations and ongoing decision making. Our five-year ESG strategy is evolving to ensure we are committed to fostering a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace, giving back to the communities we operate in, and protecting our environment.
