You empower people to work in a way that works for them.

Here's your chance to design and deliver efficient, customer-focused services that also enhance accessibility, sustainability and overall quality of living for more people than you've imagined.

In this role, you'll:
Working as part of a team delivering innovation, insights and continuous improvement across the Community and Stakeholder Engagement (CSE) function and partners.

This role will see you lead a specialist team to set the strategic direction for the CSE Innovation and Best Practice Roadmap, embedding systems, tools, processes and technologies that enable consistent, evidence‑based engagement practice and equip practitioners to deliver smarter, data‑informed engagement that strengthens trust and performance.

You will lead new ways of driving innovation, evaluation and continuous improvement in a large, complex public sector environment, supporting cultural change, digital adoption and alignment between local practice, statewide frameworks and government priorities.

This is a permanent role that can be located anywhere statewide. If based regionally, it is expected that you will attend our Elizabeth Street, Sydney office at least once a month.

For more information on this position and business unit, view the role description and information pack.

About you

Your innovation, insights, leadership and continuous improvement skills formed across engagement, communications or service‑delivery environments will see you excel in leading multidisciplinary teams, embedding evaluation and lessons learnt frameworks, and improving systems and practice through data and analytics, bringing evidence‑based tools and capability uplift to lead to consistent, high‑quality and measurable engagement outcomes. You’re recognised as a strategic and influential leader, skilled at translating insights into action, and experienced in driving innovation, best practice and performance improvement across complex organisational networks.
