As General Manager – Project & Innovation Office, you will lead our enterprise transformation portfolio, innovation capability, and project delivery function, ensuring strategic investment translates into meaningful organisational outcomes.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, transformation, and delivery, helping ensure organisational investment translates into measurable outcomes for our people, customers, and communities.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this strategic leadership role sits at the centre of enterprise transformation, partnering with the Executive Leadership Team to shape investment priorities, guide organisational change and ensure strategic initiatives deliver measurable value across Churches of Christ.

The opportunity.

This is more than a PMO leadership role.

You will lead the next phase of maturity for the Project & Innovation Office, shaping how strategic initiatives are prioritised, governed and delivered across the organisation.

Partnering with Executives and senior leaders, you will help bring clarity to competing priorities, improve portfolio visibility and ensure investment decisions deliver measurable value and sustainable outcomes.

You will lead and deliver:

• A diverse portfolio of transformation initiatives, strategic investments, and organisational change.
• The continued maturity of the Project & Innovation Office, strengthening governance, visibility, and delivery capability.
• Executive decision-making through portfolio insight, prioritisation, and benefits realisation.
• Strong alignment between strategy, investment, and organisational outcomes.
• A culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and accountability.

About You:

You are a strategic transformation leader who can balance governance with pragmatism, influence senior stakeholders, and turn organisational ambition into measurable outcomes.

• Experience leading enterprise transformation, PMO or portfolio functions within complex organisations.
• A track record of delivering large-scale programs and organisational change initiatives.
• Strong commercial acumen, including business cases, investment prioritisation, and benefits realisation.
• Outstanding stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills.
• Experience presenting to Executive teams, Steering Committees and Boards.
• Relevant qualifications in project, program, portfolio or change management.

Experience within aged care, healthcare, community services, or similarly regulated environments will be highly regarded.
