Help us achieve best-in-class consumer underwriting by identifying and addressing gaps in our understanding of risks, pricing effectiveness, and oversight capabilities. As an Underwriting Specialist, you’ll play a key role in developing data-driven recommendations and delivering solutions aligned with our underwriting principles: transparency, fairness, alignment across the value chain, and agility.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyse underwriting data and processes to identify risks and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design agile solutions that meet regulatory and customer expectations
  • Document current and future state processes, driving governance and compliance uplift including DDO
  • Coordinate delivery of strategic initiatives, ensuring timely execution and quality outcomes
  • Support the design and implementation of improved underwriting frameworks aligned to industry standards

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in financial services, ideally general insurance, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to synthesise complex information and translate it into actionable insights
  • Experience in project delivery using Agile, Lean, or waterfall methodologies
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills to influence and collaborate effectively
  • Familiarity with risk management practices and governance frameworks
