Job Description

SEAWAY Australia is seeking a Billing Administrator / Invoicing Officer to prepare and process customer invoices, maintain accurate billing records, and support finance and logistics operations. The role ensures timely, accurate invoicing while assisting with reconciliations and resolving billing enquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process invoices for freight and logistics services.
  • Verify freight charges, reconcile billing records, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Respond to customer billing enquiries and support account reconciliations.
  • Prepare billing reports and assist with month-end and audit activities.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure accurate billing.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 1+ year of experience in billing, invoicing, accounts, or logistics administration.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in freight forwarding, transport, or logistics.
  • Familiarity with ERP, accounting, or Transport Management Systems (e.g., CargoWise, SAP, MYOB, Pronto).
  • Knowledge of Australian GST and invoicing procedures.
  • Experience with freight rate calculations.
