The demand now exists for an Integrative (Functional / Lifestyle Medicine) General Practitioner, seeking the opportunity to work independently, in a warm, boutique, private practice environment. Whether you are an experienced practitioner in this area, or have a keen interest you wish to explore further, we are here to support you. At this stage demand for Integrative GP’s is higher than the practice can meet and new appointments are booking 2-6 months ahead. This is an interesting and complex area of medicine that caters to patients with chronic conditions who require extensive support.

Training is available through the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM), Australian Integrative Medicine Association (AIMA), Bio balance, Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine and many other providers. Integrative Health Solutions is able to offer mentorship and practical training for those wishing to transition into this rewarding area of medicine. The right candidate would be looking for a minimum of 2 full days per week, with session times running from 8.00am – 1.00pm and 2.00pm – 7.00 pm. Saturdays are shared on a rotating roster amongst our practitioners, along with some evening duty dr sessions. This allows us to cover each others patients.

You will be well supported by our team of Doctors, Allied Health practitioners, Complementary therapists, nursing and reception staff. Our practice also benefits from working alongside a fantastic team of onsite partners including: Clinpath Pathology Collection Centre, Infinity Compounding Pharmacy, Bensons radiology, and The Specialist Clinics Blackwood.
