Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) is seeking an experienced and people-focused Environmental Services Manager to lead cleaning, waste and linen services across our multi-campus health service.
Reporting to the Director of Support Services, you will provide strong operational leadership, develop a high-performing workforce, drive continuous improvement, and champion a culture of safety, accountability and service excellence. Leading a large and diverse team, you will ensure services are delivered efficiently, meet regulatory and accreditation requirements, and contribute to outstanding patient care and customer experience.
Key responsibilities: includes leading and developing teams; driving service improvements and operational excellence; managing workforce capability and performance; ensuring safety, quality and compliance; overseeing budgets and resources; building effective stakeholder and contractor partnerships; and leading sustainability, audit and accreditation activities.
To be successful, you will bring: proven operational leadership experience, the ability to engage and develop high-performing teams, strong change and continuous improvement capability, sound knowledge of safety and quality principles, excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, and flexibility to lead across AWH's multiple campuses and service locations.
