About our Graduate Program
Our Graduate Program provides hands-on experience through rotations across our core business functions.
You’ll start in our Engagement, Standards and International Relations department. You’ll then rotate through different business departments over the course of a 12-month rotation. Along the way, you’ll discover your strengths, broaden your skill set, and gain valuable insight into how standards contribute to keeping every Australian safe. At the end of the program, you’ll return to the Engagement, Standards and International Relations department in a permanent role!
What you’ll do
- Support the end-to-end management of standards development projects
- Contribute to relationship management activities with key government, industry and international stakeholders
- Contribute to the preparation and assessment of project proposals
- Engage in the adoption and adaptation of international standards
- Coordinate briefing materials and stakeholder communications for meetings and consultations
- Support stakeholders in their engagement with Standards Australia, including the standards development process
- Assist with the coordination and administration of technical committee activities
- Participate in the preparation of submissions, presentations and updates for national and international forums
- Gain exposure to international standards policy and Australia’s role in global and regional standards forums
- Are in their final year of study or have completed a degree within the past three years
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and thrive in team environments
- Are passionate about innovation and collaboration
- Exhibit curiosity, adaptability, and initiative, with a positive, collaborative mindset
