Job Description
Working as part of our established Geoscience and Remediation Services (GRS) team, you will collaborate with a team of environmental engineers, scientists, hydrogeologists and geologists to provide contaminated land assessment, environmental monitoring, and remediation consulting across a wide range of projects, including those in the oil and gas, mining, Department of Defence, and public sectors.
How you’ll make a difference:
- Primarily assist with fieldwork and environmental data collection across various project sites, learning from experienced team members.
- Support surface water and groundwater monitoring programs by participating in routine sampling and data recording.
- Contribute to contamination investigations and remediation projects of varying size and complexity while receiving guidance from senior staff.
- Help collect, handle, and manage environmental samples from different media, ensuring safety protocols and sample quality are followed.
- Assist in the development of technical environmental reports and collaborate with offices across Australia and New Zealand to gain exposure to a wide range of projects and disciplines.

Qualifications
- Summer Intern attributes: Interns who are curious and excited to apply their studies in a professional environment. You'll bring strong communication and teamwork skills, a positive and proactive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
- Bachelor’s Degree: You must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Environmental Science / Engineering, Hydrogeology, Geology, Geoscience.
- Commencement: Able to work full time hours from mid November 2026 – mid February 2027.
- Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying. We do accept candidates with student and graduate visas.
