Solution Architect (IoT)

Competencies/Technical

  • Competence in IoT solution architecture design
  • Ability to understand and integrate with business processes
  • Understand best-practice IoT architecture design patterns
  • Experience with systems integration
  • Experience in design and delivery of software development projects
  • Experience with cloud IoT services (AWS IoT / Azure IoT)
    • Capacity planning
    • Scalability
    • High-Availability
  • Security Conscious – care and practice taken to ensure best practice around operational and developmental security
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Willingness to learn and use new technologies
  • Well versed in driving key decisions to an outcome
  • Tertiary Qualification in associated discipline
  • Familiar with MQTT, Rest APIs, Python, Javascript
  • Remote monitoring and administration of systems
  • Security Certifications (CISSP, OSCP, AWS CSA)
