Cleaner

$38.90

Rate is inclusive of casual loading. Location: University of Canberra Public Hospital

  • Shifts available across Monday-Friday: 5am-1pm and 1-9pm

THE POSITION

  • General hospital cleaning duties as required such as discharge cleaning, ward cleaning, collection of waste
  • Receiving work requests from our internal helpdesk team to assist with urgent cleans or additional tasks around the hospital
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and dining areas and with equipment

THE PERSON

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
  • Experience with cleaning equipment in a healthcare setting is highly desirable
  • Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
  • Great communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
  • Posses a Working with Vulnerable People Check, Police Check, COVID vaccination and serology clearance (or be willing to obtain)
