Join our team!

Slow Lane Brewing is a small brewery and taproom in Botany, known for European-style beers and Neapolitan pizza. We're looking for a permanent part-time Pizza Chef to work alongside our head chef across our busiest days, Friday to Sunday.

If you have experience hand stretching dough, topping and cooking, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in serving quality food, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

  • Preparing and cooking Neapolitan style pizzas
  • Preparing fresh ingredients and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen
  • Following recipes and food safety procedures
  • Working efficiently and calmly during busy service periods
  • Working in a small team to produce a great product

About You

  • Previous pizza experience preferred
  • Experience with gas ovens is an advantage
  • Passionate about great food
  • Reliable, hardworking and able to handle pressure
  • A positive attitude and work ethic is huge

What We Offer

  • Permanent part-time: 15–20 guaranteed hours per week, Fri–Sun, with paid annual and sick leave
  • $520–$750 per week + super, depending on experience and hours
