Casual Front of House Team | a’Mare, Pizza’Mare & Vista’Mare

Crown Sydney · Runners, Waiters, Sommeliers & Hosts

From the refined dining experience at a’Mare to the lively energy of Pizza’Mare and the waterfront aperitivo culture of Vista’Mare, our Crown Sydney precinct offers the chance to find a role that suits your strengths and grow your career with Maestro Hospitality.

We’re looking for warm, capable people to join our casual front-of-house team.

The roles

Runners
Keep service moving by delivering food and beverages with care, supporting the floor team and learning the details that make a great guest experience. This is a strong opportunity to build your skills in a busy restaurant environment.

Waiters
Guide guests through the menu, deliver attentive service and work closely with the kitchen and bar teams. We’re looking for people who can read the room, stay composed during busy service and make guests feel genuinely welcome.

Sommeliers
Bring Italian wine to life through thoughtful recommendations, confident service and a genuine interest in sharing your knowledge. You’ll work with the team to create pairings and experiences that guests remember.

Hosts
Be the first warm welcome and the final friendly farewell. You’ll manage arrivals, reservations and the flow of the dining room while helping the team deliver a seamless service.

What you’ll bring

  • Full Australian working rights and a current NSW RSA Certificate
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine enjoyment of guest service
  • Professional presentation and the ability to work well under pressure
  • A collaborative approach and pride in the details
  • Willingness to complete Crown Sydney’s required police compliance check

Previous experience in a premium restaurant, bar or hotel is highly regarded, particularly for Waiter and Sommelier positions. Knowledge of Italian food and wine is a bonus.
