Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced ITSM Test Lead to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions by leading testing efforts and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in functional testing, test evaluation, and ITIL 4 Foundation principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and address testing requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Issue Resolution: Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues to ensure timely resolution and minimize project delays.

  • Industry Best Practices: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in functional testing to enhance testing strategies and methodologies.

  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of testing methodologies, processes, and tools.

  • Test Evaluation: Leverage experience in Defence projects and the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework to evaluate and validate ITSM solutions effectively.

  • ITIL 4 Foundation Certification Process Design: Apply ITIL 4 Foundation principles to support process design and ensure alignment with ITSM best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Test Lead or similar role, with a focus on ITSM projects.

  • Strong expertise in functional testing, test evaluation, and troubleshooting.

  • Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with Defence projects and their unique testing requirements.

  • ITIL 4 Foundation Certification (or willingness to obtain).

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Clearance Requirement:

  • NV1 security clearance is mandatory for this role.
