Full job description

JFT Japan Foods Trading Pty. Ltd. is one of the oldest and largest Japanese food importers and distributors in Victoria, proudly located in Rowville. We supply a wide range of authentic Japanese food products to restaurants, retailers, and wholesalers across Australia.

We are currently seeking a Casual Warehouse Assistant <Freezer work involved> to join our friendly and supportive team.

Your Role

  • 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, Casual Position
  • Pick and pack Japanese frozen food products
  • Work in a freezer environment (-18°C) and assist with container unloading
  • Palletise goods and coordinate pick-up and delivery with logistics companies
  • Monitor stock levels and restock shelves as required
  • Assist delivery drivers with organising and loading deliveries
  • Perform other general warehouse duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Reliable, responsible, and physically fit (able to lift up to 25kg)
  • A team player with good communication skills
  • Organised with strong time management skills
  • Positive “can-do” attitude and willingness to learn
  • Basic knowledge of Japanese food products or a willingness to learn
  • Able to commit to the role for at least one year
  • Forklift licence would be an advantage, Training will be provided for the right candidate.
