Your New Role
- Open to Melbourne OR Sydney based candidates
- 6 month max term contract
Reporting to the Lead QA Tester, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end testing activities across functional and non-functional requirements. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and executing test scenarios, test cases, and test data
- Developing and maintaining test plans aligned to project timelines and objectives
- Executing test cycles, identifying defects, and managing defect resolution
- Providing regular reporting on testing progress, coverage, and defect status
- Identifying opportunities for test automation and supporting implementation of frameworks
- Driving best practice in test automation to ensure scalable, maintainable solutions
- Collaborating closely with developers, platform owners, and project teams to deliver quality outcomes
How do you exceed our expectations?
- Experience across functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing
- Strong hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g. JIRA, Xray, TestRail)
- Capability in test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
- Working knowledge of Java, Python, or similar scripting languages
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and DevOps practices
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
