About the role

The Apprentice Plumber will become eligible to qualify as a Plumbing Tradesperson after gaining a thorough working knowledge of the plumbing trade through structured on-the-job training, work experience and formal TAFE studies. The Apprentice will assist the Plumbing Trades Team to provide and maintain high quality hydraulic infrastructure facilities for patient care and staff accommodation throughout West Moreton Health Service.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

Ability to undertake manual work and understand technical information.
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, prioritise allocated work and meet deadlines.
Ability to interact with stakeholders of all levels and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.

Mandatory Requirements:

Minimum completion of year 10 with a pass in Maths and English.
Possession of a General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
